representative payee services

Dear Neighbor Ministries' representative payee service assists people who receive Social Security benefits but are unable to manage their own finances.

Approved by the Social Security Administration, the program was established in 2005 with the help of Episcopal Social Services of Wichita.

The services of the representative payee program are available to any Social Security recipient at no cost.  

The program is staffed by nine trained volunteers who donate one afternoon a week on an on-going basis. Volunteers assist over 90 Social Security recipients with budgeting, bill-paying and record-keeping.
